@weswadetattoo: The bigger the stencil, the harder it can be to line up correctly! 👀 Here are a few things I always do when applying backpiece stencils 👇 📍 Find the centre – I usually use the spine and the centre of the bum as my guide. I’ll mark a dot with a Sharpie, then use my hand to smudge it down the spine so I know I’m following the centre line. 🧍 Natural posture – Always have the client standing upright in a relaxed, natural position. This helps prevent the design from warping when they move. 📏 Don’t be afraid to go big – I always say go slightly bigger than you initially think. A backpiece can wrap onto the ribs, and it often makes the overall composition flow better. Getting the placement right is just as important as the tattoo itself! #backpiece #backtattoo #tattoostencil #realismtattoo #stenciltips
