Except... you're wrong... If you increase the tire size from 30 inches to 35 inches, you must use W = P * A (weight = internal pressure * contact area). This means the air pressure would go down in your specific example.

For Mercrdes-Benz, the correct tire pressure is listed in the gas tank door. The door jam is maximum load.

Okay, let me make sure I got this right. I take my door jam number (32 PSI) and add it to my tire number (52 PSI) and that’s the target number? I just put in 84 PSI and it doesn’t look right.

Had a flat once. We were dumb and when the donut said 60psi, we filled that sucker to 60psi. We got in the car and shut the doors. Or weight plus the vibration of the slamming door detonated the donut 😬
