went and bought one as soon as we got back into town after the last time my Yukon almost left us sitting 2 hours from home.

I am the same way! I’m very blessed that my husband has several mechanics friends who will come meet me and help me if ever he’s out of town long hauling! It boggles my mind how many men don’t even ask if women need help at least here in small town Ohio. I grew up in the south and every time I ever had an issue some gentleman would stop and offer to help. Usually would have it fixed or drivable to make it home before my stepdad would make it to me. Idk if it is a them thing or from bad experiences from women who don’t feel safe. I always carry so I believe in that added protection and staying on the phone with my husband while the stranger is near.
