Im from Iraq and honestly this rule is disgusting. My grandparents have 7 daughters and also put their kids first.my mum was 14 when she got married because she wanted to and was begging her parents to marry my dad even though she was young and he was older it took them a minute to agree because all their friends daughters were married young but they didn’t want that . I can’t imagine how the people of forced marriage feel

For everyone asking if this isn’t what the Prophet (SAW) did to Aisha. Please, practice your reading comprehension skills and read the disclaimer they put on the video. And if you take it a bit further and practice your critical thinking skills, you will be able to easily understand that the marriage between the Prophet SAW and Aisha would have not been credible if Aisha was forced/coerced into it.
