The Met Office has issued a number of weather warnings across the UK for October 23, including yellow warnings for parts of the South West, South East, Wales and Scotland. An amber wind warning is in place for Cornwall, Devon, the Isles of Scilly and Plymouth. I wonder why they just can’t name all of these so called oncoming threatening sort of serious storms something normal such as let’s say something simple such as perhaps a more or less likely light little medium to mild mediocre storm in a tea cup with a slight chance of rather woefully weak and wet detrimental drizzle of driving rain which will also come with a crisp waft of obvious wind followed by a flurry of some sudden sunshine
