Quilting and sewing after my second baby was how I got myself out of that darkness! That was 17 years ago and I’ve just finished my 50th quilt and it was donated for my daughter’s volleyball team fundraiser this season😊

Hear me out…I think u could make a GREAT (and cheap) Christmas gift for ur precious girl(s)..a sewing kit. maybe find a cute basket or bag at a thrift store (u could put her initials on it) and then put some scrap fabric, pcs of fun colors of felt, some mini chip/binder clips she can make the pieces stick together(safer than pins); safe scissors; the dollar tree has small measured cutting mats (honestly u can probably find everything u need for this at the dollar tree, including the fabric, felt and ribbon) a thing of thin $1 ribbon in her fav color(s), maybe you even put in some of the ironing fusing so that u can iron her “creations” together? She still might be a little young, but I think u could come up with a really special, fun, meaningful, inexpensive gift that would have good play value! [Pink heart]

I am five months postpartum and just picked up sewing again. It is my outlet so as long as I picked up the house next tidy I give myself time on the sewing machine until I finish the project that I’m working on so if the house gets messy again that’s not my problem.
