@vylewa: Amina had spent far more time thinking about Kwame than she wanted to admit. He had interrupted her work on Friday night, which led to them spending time together at the hotel on Saturday, only for him to ghost her on Sunday. He had consumed her thoughts all weekend. Now she was back at Reed, trying to put him out of her mind and concentrate on building herself back up. It was only when she reached her desk that she remembered Riley had given her something else to worry about. Before he left on Friday, he had handed her a stack of manuscripts to type and edit, with every one due before work on Monday. Between everything that had happened with Kwame and her attempts to make sense of it, she had forgotten the assignment entirely. Losing this job would mean losing her chance to afford a better place to live, and Amina was determined to find a way through the work. She started by scanning the manuscripts onto her computer, saving herself hours of typing. Editing them was another challenge, but her search for a more efficient process brought her to Arc. The application offered a way to organize the work and identify issues for her to review, leaving Amina to make the editorial decisions. Reed had not approved it, but she downloaded it anyway and got to work. With a process that finally worked for her, the stack no longer seemed impossible. By the time Riley arrived, she was making her final changes. When he asked about the assignment, she sent the completed files straight to his inbox. His disbelief was lost on Amina, who had every reason to feel pleased with herself. The work she had not thought she could finish in an entire weekend had taken her only a few hours that morning. #sims4storytelling #storytime #lovestory #sims4drama #sims4stories
