Iceland Photo Dump 🇮🇸 You may have noticed I haven’t been posting as much these past couple of weeks. I’ve been trying to give myself a little more grace lately, and I thought taking a break from social media might be what I needed. But I think it actually made things harder. Creating and sharing is part of my everyday life, and the longer I went without doing it, the more I found myself in a slump. Then I’d feel overwhelmed about getting back into it, which only made me put it off even more. Iceland was honestly amazing. Alex and I had such a wonderful time together, enjoying good food, relaxing at the spas, and wandering around Reykjavík. It was a much-needed vacation for both of us, and I’m so grateful we got to spend that time together. ❤️ But something I’ve been realizing is that when I’m traveling, especially when I’m constantly on the go, I don’t have as much time to sit with my thoughts or everything I’ve been feeling. And when I get home and things slow down, it all seems to catch up with me. I think that’s part of why the past couple of weeks have been harder than I expected. I also haven’t taken a completely solo trip since everything happened earlier this year, which is pretty crazy considering how much I used to travel on my own. But I do have something exciting coming up, and I’m looking forward to sharing more about that soon. ✈️ I really do miss creating and sharing my everyday life in Boston, my travels, and everything in between. I want to get back into it, but I’m also trying not to put so much pressure on myself in the process. I don’t have everything figured out, and I’m trying to be okay with that. ❤️ #lifelately #photodump📸 #traveldiaries #mystory #visiticeland - @jakerosmarin
