one day my daughter said she wants to be grown up.. my husband said "nah you dont wanna grow up, then you'd have to work".. she said "well mommy doesn't work".. he then proceeded to list off every thing I do and then ended it with "she works more than I do!" 😭

I was a SAHM & I never heard the end of it. Was constantly accused of infidelity with zero proof and then he ended up betraying me himself. How he had the time? I do not know. I will NEVER be a SAHM again if a man offers.

Appreciation still does not pay the bills. It’s still an enormous financial risk to be a stay at home- they can only afford it if they can put money in your retirement and give you a large enough degree of financial autonomy /opportunity.

I had an 8 month long maternity leave and boy did he find every reason to hate me while I was staying home and still getting paid 😂 mind you I was deep in the PPD, PPA, PP-anger trenches and he still expected me to do it all

Cleaner 1x a week, laundry person 1-2x a week, baby in 3 hour day care program daily with babysitter on standby. That’s how we do it

I’ve been married 10 years a SAHM for 5 years. I love staying home because my husbands makes me feel appreciated. He has not once thrown anything in my face. He also will still come home and help with dinner and bedtime. He is literally one of a kind. 🥹🩷
