@wlukfox11: Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday that Running back Josh Jacobs would practice this week leading up to Sunday's game against the Lions. The media was not allowed to film during Wednesday's walk through. LaFleur was asked if two practices will be enough for Jacobs to play on Sunday. "Yeah we'll see, we'll work through it." LaFleur was asked later on how does the team balance being excited getting Jacobs back in practice but understanding the seriousness of the allegations and the outside noise. "I think a lot of times you get in a situation where you may nit make the right decision and I think people learn from their mistakes and I think he's extremely remorseful and I do believe that he is a good person. I've been around him quite a bit and I believe in second chances," LaFleur said. LaFleur was asked about how does the offense change once Jacobs comes back. "I think we'll have a plan in place whether or not he can go and we'll adjust from there but I think it changes some a little bit in regards to you have a dynamic back you want to get the ball to and let him go to work," he said. #fyp #packers #joshjacobs #greenbaypackers #packersnews
I’m sorry but beating up your wife isn’t deserving of a second chance. You know full well what you are doing and it takes a terrible person to even do something like that even one time.

Born a Packer fan and I don’t want to hear it. Nothing can convince me that if he was a backup running back, the team’s handling of the matter wouldn’t be different. Yeah, sometimes you get into a situation where you might not make the right decision, and this is one of them for the Packers.

Unfortunately there is nothing moral the packers can really do. It’s on the NFL to suspend him. If the packers drop him another team will pick him up without issue and play him. If every team would agree to not sign him, that would be one thing. But an NFL team is there to win games and will do what it can to win those games. In my opinion the NFL should suspend him until he completes a treatment program. If he screws up again, then a permanent suspension

Sounds like he may speak from experience. Way to defend an abuser…again.

I find it hard to believe that within 5 months, without punishment or treatment, Josh completely reformed himself from an abuser into a “good person.”

I think if you as a man beat up a woman where she takes you to court and you got arrested, that should be immediate disqualification from play eligibility in any league

Yes you learn from your mistakes but people must also be held accountable for their actions.

If you judge everyone by their worst decision then there would be no good people left. Not sure what is on that tape but it’s not good. Hopefully he does good and learns coming from this outside of football.
