This might just be me right and I could be completely wrong. But I feel like all the time and investment put into your child sort of places a lot of pressure on your child to succeed at all the things you would like her to. And if in the future, she doesn’t live up to the high expectations I assume you have for her then it could really damage her self-esteem.
