Teacher burn out is so real this was my first day(week before students came)and I’ll comment a pic right before I walked away from teaching. I did 5 years. It destroyed my mental & physical health literally. I loved my kids but wow it destroyed me and I didn’t even realize it until I left.

From one educator to another, I see you and I hear you. It is incredibly heavy to feel like you're losing the spark that led you to this profession, but please know you aren't alone in that struggle. The burnout is real, and it is okay to be exhausted even when you love what you do. At the same time, those children need you; they need someone who is going to push them to be their best and provide the love and support they rely on every day. I am sending you so much strength, and I truly hope you find the peace and rest you need to find your way back to yourself. ❤️

Nobody being held accountable at the school I work at the kids or the parents they keep adding unnecessary stuff for me and my co workers to do that’s not benefiting these kids I’m fed up

Sadly, it’s the truth. 💔 I left teaching 3 years ago. My heart broke for the kids. The school system and these parents need to do better. The lack of support makes it even worse.

My sons teacher was having trouble with him. Best believe I went and sat in that class every day and now she calls me anytime her assistant can’t make it or needs more supplies for the class. She does so much for my son so the least I can do is show up when she needs me.

I’m so sorry to the teachers in the comments. You should never have to end your passion because it’s literally slowing ruining you. We as parents must do better!! Teachers are humans and it’s only so much 1 person can do. 🥺

My passion is Early Childhood! It’s the only thing I’ve been sooo great at but working in so many poorly ran daycares I left for good. My skin was awful, my mental was deteriorating, my body ached everyday, I was getting and super depressed while teaching, no help from admin, double the work bcus teachers don’t stay so the kids are all piled in 1 classroom, barely get a bathroom break. I will open my own if it’s Gods will but until then I am done, my spark is gone😩😔😔
