I hated it when the board sacked Amorim because he had a clear picture of what he wanted to do and the players played their legs out even if we lost in a game. Carrick benefitted from what Amorim was already building at united. United would have been so formidable if Amorim was the coach till now

What is your argument? Was Amorim good? Were his tactics taking the team to places? If Amorim is successful in Italy, that does not mean he can succeed in England. It is the EPL, for crying out loud. Any coach with one style of play cannot succeed in England, and that is what happened to Amorim. Amorim was a mess, but Carrick is a worst version. I have been supporting this club since 2003. What worked for Carrick last season was the intensive training Amorim infused into the players, but now Carrick's training sessions are a party, as every player has said.
