Can’t you just changed your iMessage to send from your email on your phone instead of your number so you don’t have to use your laptop?

Also once you get permanently banned from iMessage your cell phone carrier is usually next and you would have to get a new phone number . If your using iMessage on your Mac it’s going through your Apple ID

This only happens when the messages are spam, like sending the same message to multiple people repeatedly.

Tricia lynn :
So the way we ban someone from iMessage is if they get reported for spam too many times . You can call and get it unlocked usually once. So your sending people spam or unwanted messages multiple times .
