I’m raising 6, yes I said SIX children. Two are mine and four are loaners that came prepackaged in with my now husband. I love those kids like they are mine. You come for them and you’ll have to get through me first… but let me tell ya! There’s about 2.5 of these kids that gentle parenting works on in this house. The others can get in line and grab their ankles bc my husband will tear ‘em up if they get sideways. And ALL of them are awesome kids! God handpicked every one for my husband and I. [Red heart]

I don’t think it’s a good idea for a lot of parents just because spanking is supposed to be used for discipline to teach a child something right? I’ve been around long enough to know most adults don’t know what the hell they are doing most of the time. Occasionally yes, but most of the time I’d say most parents are at the “I know just enough about this to ground you” stage.

My 19yo worked with a group of 5th graders during the summer and after the first day walked up and said "Thank you for beating me as a child" (she has never been beat and barely got spankings because she was really an easy child). I laughed so hard.
