He isnt abusive, doesn't yell/scream. But there is no attention/affection or companionship. He disappears all day/night without communicating. He rejects my attempts for couple time. Pretty sure he is an avoidant. These are acceptable points for couples who choose each other & want to grow. I want to grow with him but I am sure it will be without him.

So true, I’ve been with my husband 24yrs. Married 14 of them. There have been highs and lows. Times I felt that honeymoon stage like the beginning and times I wanted to off him 😂. Moments I know he needs space and vice versa, we can read each other and just know. I found a diamond in the rough, I know. But I feel people are just always looking for those sparks 100% of the time. Long term love is just being comfortable around each other in the silence and accepting one another for who you/they are without judgement.
