I love my mom. She was a single mom and worked hard to send us to a good Catholic school. If I could make her elevated in the sight of humanity I would. The Blessed Virgin bore the horrific weight of the ultimate fear of any parent her entire life. Not only that He would suffer and that she could do nothing to stop it but that He would also lose His Life. I could never imagine a life bearing this inevitable burden daily. The sacrifice and submission this requires. I think my mom is special. What does The Savior of the world think of His wonderful mother??? What should YOU think of her when you try to see her through His eyes?

So let’s disregard all the preparation God did prior to that moment….did God not form Mary? He could’ve formed her at any time. It didn’t have to do with her. He waited for the perfect moment for all of humanity. Not because Mary was willing. Other women were willing and submitted to Gods will too. Yall glorify and deify the creation too much.

I honestly think a big part of it is God’s rule of free will. So even though humanity was cursed, He wanted to see how far we would go, how closely we could cling to His word outside of Paradise. He knew He would send his son to save us. But We have to forget God will watch what we do in response to something else. He’s definitely a let’s let it play out type lol until He says that’s enough. All of life grows and matures and develops. Like a baby in the womb, like a flower blooming, God allows his creation to do what it was designed to do in the context of time.
