@privacytipsdaily: Breaking News: AI found a flaw that could expose up to 70% of the web, and governments are telling sites to go offline. OpenAI says its GPT-5.6 Sol model found two critical bugs in PHP, the code that runs most websites. They're called PHP2Shell. The NSA says they "often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database," which is where a site keeps your account and personal data. Wiz estimates the bugs could affect up to 70% of the internet. The details leaked before the fix was ready. The PHP Foundation says the security company Chainguard broke the embargo. The NSA, FBI, and CISA, along with agencies in the UK, Canada, and Australia, told organizations to patch now or take their sites offline. Government sites in the Netherlands and Finland and the main page of France's tax portal went down today. If you run a website, update PHP to 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, or 8.2.35 now. If you don't, the risk is a site you use getting hacked. Watch for breach emails, and use a different password on every site so one break-in doesn't open the rest. Did any site you use go down today?
