I lived right across the road from my grandma until I was 12 and it was the best thing ever. Then we moved 15 minutes away but I still managed to spend the night every weekend almost. She is now 101 and lives 2 hours away so my aunt can care for her and it kills me cause I can’t make it as often. I’m seeing her today though!

I grew up on a dirt road. One set of grandparents on one side of me and the other set of grandparents moved in behind us when I was 5. If I wanted to visit my great-grandparents, it was less than a 5 minute walk down the dirt road. It was an amazing childhood.[Heartwarming][Heartwarming][Heartwarming]

My mother in law lives right behind us and our 14 y/o still goes to her Grammy’s house and spends the night with her. Our daughter has always ran across the back yard to her grandparents house. It’s the best♥️

My grand daughter lived right next door and did this exact thing until about a month ago, and it’s killing me not having her walk over to my house every day! Her new house is less than ten minutes away, but it will never be as good as the days of her watching for Gigi and running across the yard to me!

I love this so much!! I spent so much time at my grandmas. My kids spent so much time with my dad. I don’t get to see my grands at all. The world needs more of this!
