my husband and I both had appointments on the same day- his was first. We didn’t tell them we were married. I was still in the lobby when he came out- he went to the car after his appointment to wait. As soon as he was out the door the girl at the front desk started mocking him. I. Lost. My. Shit. They called the cops on me and he was blissfully unaware in the car when 3 cop cars pulled in. I did not get arrested, but she did get fired.

They also mock and gossip about you when reading your MyChart. I had them put up something called “glass walls” into my MyChart so if someone is going through my chart notes they have to put in a password and say why they’re looking.

Yep. I use to work at a cancer center with about 8 different docs. They do in fact talk shit about you and your family. 😏

When I was younger I used to call this nurse captain America bc he was so sweet, then the next time I came in I heard him and a few others laughing about a patient, then I started calling him dead pool. 🤦🏻♀️

I call it the "lack of health care" industry. All the office staffs do this, the doctors and nurses are much worse. I had a highly regarded doctor mock me because of something I said I under anesthesia right to my face. If you complain nothing happens. The entire industry clams up for each other.

I am a nurse and a chronic pain patient..I had to do a drug screen for something and I overheard the other nurse discussing my results saying I shouldn't be a nurse because I take Adderall and pain meds, and then the girl goes oh well the mood stabilizers she is prescribed is what does it for me ..she is a crazy drug addict not a nurse ...and they laughed. I have depression as anyone can. The doctor opened the door and rolled out into the hall l, looked back at me and said " did you hear that?" I repeated every word and then wished them good luck! I never seen them again.

So almost 5 years ago I was pregnant with my daughter and I went to the same woman doctor for years. He was great… was… when I went to see him this time I was working still I was about 36 weeks pregnant and kept swelling. Went in for an appointment told the nurse my symptoms. She goes on to tell me that if a doctors note to be put on leave for work was what I was there for I wasn’t going to get it. Doctor comes in checks me out baby is great I tell him about the swelling and my other symptoms. He steps out into the hallway to get my leave note and him and the nurse start talking about me! “And this one in here acts like she can’t work because she’s pregnant” my heart sunk. I had one last appointment with them until I had my baby and I told him how much I didn’t appreciate being talked about while I’m waiting. He apologized but I never went back after. I wish I had the courage to film them because you could hear everything from my room
