In high school I was 85 pounds and a size 2 in American Eagle jeans/shorts. Now I’m 120 and a size 00. XS and S don’t fit me the way they used to, it’s baffling. Vanity sizing makes it harder for me to find clothes that fit.

girl take your measurements and read size charts. it’s the ONLY thing that has saved me from spending unnecessary money 😭 most places offer a size chart online. the only time you’d be taking a gamble is buying secondhand!

why does this has to be a “skinny girl” versus “big girl” debate? sizing is hard for everyone because companies do not stick to consistent sizing like in menswear. let’s blame them, not each other

You’re definitely more of a xxs. I used to your size in junior high and wore double 0 skinny jeans. I think you have to either shop brands that cater to smaller bodies or shop in the junior section. It’s the same with girls with really small feet, they’re too small for women’s shoes so they just accommodate for their size and shop in the kids section.
