The hardest part is remembering how you WERE… remembering feeling normal and now you are this different person who struggles …

Dr. Joe Dispenza’s mindset has helped me the most. Everything comes down to your mindset. Once you learn to control your thoughts and recognize which thoughts you give power to, your entire life will change! 🙏🏼🤍

I hate having it. It’s just a horrible feeling and it sucks when people don’t understand and just tell you to shrug it off

Lexapro is amazing. I wish I would’ve done it sooner. Maybe I wouldn’t have so much fear and trauma from the anxiety.

The problem is this: the more you focus on the symptoms, physical sensations, and the anxiety—such as by checking your pulse or trying to force those symptoms and sensations to disappear—the more your brain classifies them as important. It then delivers *even more* of those symptoms and sensations because it recognizes that you are playing along with this game: "Oh, so they’re focusing on getting rid of the symptoms, sensations, and panic? Then I’ll just provide more of them..." Essentially, you get more of whatever you focus on. Apply the DARE method: 1. Defuse ("So what if I’m anxious?"), 2. Allow (don’t try to fight it or suppress it), 3. Run towards it ("I’m curious about this feeling"), and 4. Engage (do something meaningful in the real world, like drinking water or doing ten push-ups).So the advice is live youre life with all the sympthoms like u don't have anxiety ( what would u do today if you would not be stuck in negative thoughts, feelings and sympthoms) do what make u happy go to the gym with panic attacks , go to the sea stay with friends ... by doing valued actions you showing to youre brain that u don't care about sympthoms sensations and derealisations dpdr ocd toc etc ...and more u focus on living the brain will lower the alarm volume and the sympthoms will go away by them self if u need help text me because youre not alone i have panic attacks depression anxiety for all my life (i'm 36 ) and yes it feels like dying and worse case scenarios ... but u need to understand that the alarm inside the brain is so sensitive so is trying to protect u from a "percived danger" something that is not real ... u can read DARE and Claire Weeks book about the nerves ... i hope this will help all in need stay safe and take care 🫂 love u 💚

Go get therapy. 99% chance you struggle with something you have pushed to the back. My bf had nightly panic attacks the first year we lived together. Pounding chest, couldnt catch his breath, the whole shabang. When I asked him where it came from he said 'I don't know!'. Then when I got to know his mom better, it all fell into place. She's bipolar and kept my bf small on purpose, gave him lots of fears and because she was rarely in a good mood, my bf tiptoed around the house for 26 years... I took him to therapy and more importantly gave him a safe place and it was GONE within a year 🥹🥹

To anyone fighting a quiet battle with anxiety: keep taking it one day at a time. You are so much stronger than you know, and brighter days are ahead.

It’s so hard. Yesterday, I couldn’t even move. My whole body hurt, my chest felt tight, and I couldn’t bring myself to go to work. Today, I somehow pushed through and went, even though I felt like I couldn’t breathe on the bus. I’m proud of myself for making it, but people don’t see how much effort it sometimes takes just to get out of bed and face the day. Sometimes, simply getting up and showing up is a huge victory, even if nobody else understands how hard it was

DPDR. Somatic Dissociation. 24/7. Health Anxiety. Sensory Overload. Working at chipotle 5 hours a day twice a week is miserable, meanwhile to the average person or even just the old me is not hard at all

I’ve started to think my anxiety thoughts as clouds. Let them come, and just let them go calmly. I try to close my eyes an visualize the fluffy anxiety clouds. And just like clouds, I can’t keep my thoughts, they have to drift away.
