It’s not just work. It’s everyone. Eg. You tell someone you’re broke - they immediately tell you to save money, work harder, get a better job. “Gee. I never thought of that. You mean if I don’t buy a coffee I’ll be able to afford an apartment? And, if I just apply myself I’ll get that four figure job? Amazing. You solved everything.”

Work doesn’t care, they will make it harder. Keep your private life protected. I’m 42 now. Homeless at 16. Your coworkers are not your friends. It’s lonely, it’s hard, but it does get better. If you’re in a HCOL area, try to get out of there as soon as you can so you can afford to live and start your next chapter. ♥️

I lived out of a Honda civic for a year worked 3 jobs that didn’t pay well. I eventually enlisted in the military and got back on my feet. I understand the frustration and feeling.

If I was you, I would not tell anybody that you’re homeless or give them your financial situation. People will stay away from you if they think you might ask them for money and it might be afraid of you if you tell them you’re homeless like you’re going to ask them to live with them. If I was you, I’m gonna keep it to yourself. Good luck with everything and you will find something soon. Keep your head up. You’re strong.

If your job is a “chill job for college students” and your supervisor is older than like 25, it’s because they are a loser that didn’t amount to anything and is angry and taking it out on you to fill a superiority-complex survival mechanism void in their brain. Not anything wrong with you. Just keep your eye on the ball and break free. I promise you, a real career or a business you own (if that’s more your thing) is not like that. Work with other people that aspire to do great things and you will always be welcomed. Be kind to yourself, this moment is passing even now.

You’re so right, and it should be the opposite. If you have family or friends with even a little floor space to spare, you shouldn’t be living in your car. But as I learned during my own bout of homelessness, that’s not how it works. You’re held to a higher standard, friendships change, and people pull away to avoid feeling obligated to help. You’ll get through this. Just remember who left you to fend for yourself when they need you someday. Adjust accordingly. Fuck em.

Get your HIPPA and blood pathogen certification it takes about 2-3 hours online. There free certification on those you just need to find it on Google. Then apply for medical courier they pay!! I work for crossroads couriers and I get paid almost $1100 a week. Sis your f strong and your killing it, f that job that you have now and become a medical courier

Let me tell you something that I’ve learned the hard way many times over. Do not trust any of your coworkers. It’s a sad thing to have to realize but people are just not loyal anymore. And I have been screwed over by people that I would’ve bet money would’ve never done that to me. Do your job do what you’re supposed to do and go home.
