Here is why I hate the majority of recruiters: they are granted the authority to assess ME and MY qualifications & skills, but 9/10x cannot answer a SINGLE ONE of my questions about the role, the function, the organization, or even who I’ll be speaking to next. If I use technical jargon, they backpedal HARD because they don’t know the lingo. And yet you believe you are a good judge of my person? How fucking dare you.

At times, when I converse with recruiters they rush about and don’t like to field questions. And I wonder if I’m too intelligent for position and need to dumb myself down. Esp with corporate lingo.

lowkey wish i had this. have my final round for banking and i forgot to ask the previous interviewer what the next round looks like. turned out i had a case study and by the luck of linked in i was able to contact an analyst in the position to give me some valuable advice lol

By far the best advise on can get during the Jo market mania! I personally experienced this and it threw me off. A new person just showed up and I didn’t know who they were, what they did. They asked me something I still think about. Tell me 3 good things and 3 bad things your team might say about you. Good was easy, bad was hard.
