I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 3 years ago. The diagnosis came after all autoimmune dieases were ruled out. My baby sister has Lupus. I wonder how genetics play a part with fibromyalgia.

What can we do to make our illness more heard and understood? They don’t pay attention to us, and they make us feel as if we were crazy. I believe that when they dismiss us and make us feel this way, they also hurt us emotionally. �

I was diagnosed 11 yrs ago with fibromyalgia, I never knew there was 2 types! I knew about stages as ive went up to 6. why are we told about these 2 types by GPs

I was recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and spondylitis. I also think I may have fibro too. I am a 4 time cancer patient and my last lung surgery left me with chronic pain, so i’m already on Cymbalta which my rheumatologist said they use for fibro

My RA doctor believes that's what I have but wants me to go back to my primary care doctor for treatment. I have other underlying issues, & he is checking on that, but not the Fibro. I don't understand why he will not treat it.

I have an autoimmune disease, diagnosed with that first. Then I developed fibromyalgia. My autoimmune disease is being treated. The fibromyalgia I have is horrible.
