This is why i partially don't want to know what happened to my friends growing up when i lived in the chi. They had a video going around of one of my childhood friends getting killed by an off duty officer during an attempted robbery. It hurts me because i knew him before he would ever have done anything like that and I knew what his childhood was like and what we came from. In some ways we had things that we dealt with that were way beyond our years. I wish he'd chosen a different route.
