@gamereactions1: 🚨 Marc Cucurella on what he told Kylian Mbappe after he scored the third hoal. 🎙️Reporter: Cucurella, cameras caught you speaking to Mbappé immediately after his third goal. What did you tell him? 🗣️Cucurella: “I told him, ‘Bro, you deserve the Ballon d’Or. Don’t let all this Lamine Yamal hype make you doubt yourself.’” 🎙️Reporter: That sounds like a direct message to Barcelona fans. Do you genuinely believe Mbappé deserves it more than Lamine? 🗣️Cucurella: “Listen, Lamine is a very talented player, and I respect him. But we need to stop confusing potential with greatness. Mbappé has been delivering goals, breaking records and deciding big games. What more does he need to do?” 🎙️Reporter: But Barcelona fans will tell you Lamine has won major trophies and deserves recognition. 🗣️Cucurella: “And that’s football. But if we’re talking about the best player in the world, you cannot ignore what Mbappé has done. Sometimes I feel people want Lamine to win because of the story, the age and the hype. If Mbappé had the same numbers as Lamine, nobody would even be having this debate.” 🎙️Reporter: So you’re saying the media is favouring Lamine Yamal? 🗣️Cucurella: “I’m saying that if we remove the hype and judge football purely on performance, Mbappé has a very strong case. Lamine is young. He has time to win five Ballon d’Or awards. But you cannot hand him this one just because he is the future.” 🎙️Reporter: Do you think Barcelona fans will be angry with you for saying this? 🗣️Cucurella: “They can be angry. That doesn’t change my opinion. Football is not won on social media. Let the votes decide.” 🎙️Reporter: Final question. If you had one vote, Mbappé or Lamine Yamal? 🗣️Cucurella: “Mbappé. And I wouldn’t need five minutes to think about it.” #realmadrid #manchesterunited #football #manchesterunitedfans #semu
