exactly, that's why I don't get why people are acting so confused as to why ekane got her kids took like she hasn't been giving CPS years of live evidence of the toxic environment that those kids were being raised in, I'm just surprised that the kids are just now being taken because they should've been stepped in sooner

I think theres also a level of racism here too. Black mothers are more likely to have their kids taken due to racism because they’re more demonized. Let’s not disregard this fact.

I got taken to a hospital bleeding from my pants and scream crying from my biological father's house and had to get a 🍇kit done as a 5 year old boy and cps STILL didn't take me from him/grant my mom sole custody even after multiple law enforcement visits and citations.

Depending on your state, CPS will work with you. My husband and I were using , someone called CPS. I voluntarily let my son go with family under the guidance of CPS. We went to treatment and got our son back in 5 months. We were lucky and I know that isn’t the case often times. But they helped me get my act together when I was struggling.

My son was punched in the nose by his father at 7 and he got a letter telling him he’s not “allowed” to physically harm the children. The school called so many times too.

I was taken away from my mom because she used sarcasm and said “maybe a ghost did it” so they used that to say she was on drugs. I was already in a foster home the very next week while my grandparents were already in the process of fighting for me. I hate to sound self centered and call myself a pretty baby but cps LOVES taking pretty babies to make money off of them.
