Pepper’s a fun character, but i think the writers need to rework her character a lil bit. I don’t think she needs to be a complete airhead. Her energetic and bubbly personality is genuinely sufficient and distinct enough- she would have worked way better as a ‘harper from wizards style character’

pepper is so much more smarter than lobotomized cat she's just silly and I lowkey relate to pepper cuz she's funny and silly in a way but she's not really dumb like cat

as Pepper said "someone has to be the dumb one". I feel like they are more consistent with her intelligence than in the victorious show. since in the original cat was supposed to be just bi polar but then became a full blown airhead

I think Cat is more socially airheaded while Pepper is more intellectually airheaded. Pepper is aware of what’s going on around her (most of the time) while Cat is not. However Pepper isn’t great at problem solving. I like Pepper’s character and I think it’s pretty different from Cat’s :)

i think it’s a huge misstep in general to make the characters mirror the characters in the original. all it’s going to do is create comparison, in the form of “the original is better”

I fell like Pepper is just much more unaware than reaaallly dumb I mean she was perfectly learning different languages in episode 2 just to compete with Jen. Cat could never do that because Cat was like mentally ill type of dumb

i actually rlly liked how they did pepper being an airhead. she feels a lot more grounded than cat, because she's really aware of others emotionally, unlike cat who seemed to not be very present in spirit most of the time 😭

I think in some episodes they take the ditzyness too far I feel most the times it does a good job feeling like someone who is incredibly smart nd talented playing up being goofy as a joke as opposed to late series cat who was always over the top stupid

there are many clips u can use to say pepper is a similar kind of dumb to lobotomisedcat but the one u chose is literally sarcasam? personally i think she reads as playing dumb for the most part like joking around with her friends but i totally understand ppl not liking it (also i havent finished all the eps yet but from what ive seen its much more palatable than cat)
