If you don’t identify what’s not working, you’ll have the same problem at any other college. There are many, many things going on at Tarleton, so find an event or activity that interests you and go there and introduce yourself to some people. Maybe in the d-hall, you find go up to someone sitting by themselves, or with one person, and ask if you could sit with them. Do that every day. There is just so much at Tarleton that if you’re not liking it, you could easily change that problem.

I'm at Tarleton too, also an AG major. I would love to be friends if you need another! I thought about transferring to Tech after the first few weeks as I didnt have friends and everything seemed to be against me. I then found an amazing group of girls who I love and fell into a good grove with school.

I transferred to Tarleton from tech my junior year, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. As someone who is pretty extroverted but not involved in stuff at tech it was so much easier to meet people at Tarleton and I have loved it here so much! Plus the drive to Lubbock is way more doable now and you can still visit all the time 🕺🏻
