my mom was a science teacher and used Sci fi movies to talk about what bits were realistic and which were just to make the movie fun. I find movies are a fun jumping off point for me to look into the actual history.

And I hate it!!! I understand and respect the sort of meaning of it and the art behind it but I really dislike how period set movies and series mislead others who do watch movies for historical context. that's just my opinion.

movies and documentaries are not different! movie means moving picture! any film is a movie as long as those pictures move! the term often used is narrative film or occasionally dramatic film!! :D

on the other hand we have people babyfying her as if she didn't know about extreme poverty in France happening outside of the French court circles. she did. she didn't give it much thought until it was too late. we can't just say "ohh she was a poor misunderstood princess who never asked to be spoiled" girl...
