I’ve said a thousand times that Asheboro drivers don’t pay attention to anything ever! I get hit nearly DAILY driving on Dixie. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve almost gotten in a wreck because of people not paying attention or running red lights.

Im not surprised and it breaks my heart. My daughter was almost run over by a truck there 3 years ago. I partially dislocated her shoulder pulling her out of the way and it still hit her arm hard enough to leave a large bruise. My cart has been hit more than once as well. People just fly through the lot and the bushes in the front cause a lot of issues blocking the vision of drivers as well (not that they had anything to do with this accident, they have been the cause if most issues). It breaks my heart that this happened, but Im also surprised it doesnt happen more often.

two of my wrecks were on dixie, both left hand turns. worked at mattress warehouse and could see the walmart intersection from our place; can’t even count the amount of wrecks i saw. terrible place to drive may the family find some solace.
