Danny Tommo, also known as Daniel Thomas, has been arrested after footage appeared to show him using a knife to repeatedly slash an inflatable dinghy in the English Channel. The boat had been used by migrants crossing from France and was being dealt with by a rescue crew. A rescue worker was actually on board when Tommo began stabbing and cutting the side of the boat before sailing away. Police arrested the 37-year-old on suspicion of criminal damage with intent to endanger life, as well as offences relating to endangering the safety of a vessel.
