I feel like people who want to dump ridiculous sums of money into elections should be required to pay $1 in taxes for every dollar contributed to campaigns or PACs (beyond a reasonable $1,000 base).

I voted today. Blue. In Cook County Illinois the ballot had a number of races did not have a Republican candidate. The rest of the nation needs to follow suit become a democratic stronghold.
