I’m 6’1” and my right leg was COMPLETELY dead. The nurse kept commenting on how fucking heavy and long my legs were 😭😂 she asked my husband if he could lift my right leg instead, I just looked at her and said of course he can lift my legs, how do you think we got here 😏🤣🤣🤣

My son is 20 and my left leg still feels funny “tingly” at times from the epidural. Definitely harmless but some residual affects…

I was so numb with my first baby, but I was cool with it because I powered through 7.5 hours of pitocin contractions because I was certain I didn't want an epidural... Ha. So anyway... Once I was good and numb, they found out that my baby was sunny side up, and I watched the doctor sweating her glasses down her nose with her arm all the way up in me, just putting her all into it trying to flip my baby face down 😂😂😂 the combination of not feeling a thing, while watching the amount of effort she was putting into what she was doing made me laugh I was like "you're working so hard and I can't feel a thing" 😂😂😂

My nurse was repositioning me, had put my legs up and let go and those suckers fell open for the world to see because I had ZERO control 😂 still cracks me up 6 years later.

my epidural worked so well with my 2nd that when they had to ask if I remembered how to push and I just said idk maybe. I also remember I have feet but idk if they are still attached 😭

Mine were tingly and I hated the sensation. No pain. Just weird tingles.

I had an epidural with my first and my 2nd was all natural (not by choice he came too quick) I didn’t THINK my epidural worked that well because I still felt some pain and lots of pressure. After my 2nd I can 100% tell you the epidural with the first although not a Lt. Dan epidural… still AMAZING! I did push my all natural baby out super quick though and when I tell you it’s INSTANT RELIEF! 😂

I had a Lt Dan epidural for my 1st and I’d rather than a million times over than the failed epidural I had for my second. I had the limb heaviness but felt every ounce of pain still. I could move through the pain at all. Just laid there suffering

They had to keep me in there for an extra 8 hours before my legs worked before I went to postpartum

I had a Lt Dan epidural and my nurse asked if I wanted to try getting on all 4s to push. She assured me she could get me in that position, despite my dead legs. I politely declined, but I've learned to never underestimate a L&D nurse. I'm sure she would've made it happen.

I had epidurals for my kiddos and I couldn’t feel anything except when it was time to push! I only pushed three times with one kiddo and four with the other! I know everyone’s experience is different but mine was so easy!!! ❤️❤️❤️
