I am 50 years old atm.
I became slowly disabled 8 years ago basically after an car accident, I tried to still work for another 6 years with pain and lots of effort, before my body failed totally and now I barely can walk more than 100 meters or hold something for longer than 2 minutes without having sometimes intense pains.
People forget that anybody can get disabled (and most will eventually due to old age) at any moment in life.
I have contributed a lot to society over the +30 years I have worked not only by income tax also thru the productivity I provided, I would give anything to be able to work again instead of living with pain, social isolation and financial stress because it is not like you can live comfortably with the government support alone, you have to do everything very basic if you all by yourself.

You are totally correct. I also hope that the non disabled people have watched this. Hopefully they might have learnt something about disabled people.

I am disappointed by the lack of outcry or comments speaking out about it.
I am not sure if I am missing them, but I find the silence very loud.
Also, I am so sorry for what has happened to you. Access to Work is there to level the playing field so we can work and contribute. And yet, if we do not work, we are "benefit scroungers"—make up your mind, Telegraph!

I worked at a games company that made WW2 games, one day during research I came across the T4 program... it was soul destroying what I read, I guess it hit me hard because I have Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism. When people say stuff like "that can't happen today" I like to remind people that the people running those programs used to be green grocers, librarians, school teachers and other "mild mannered" citizens. So many brutal crimes have happened just because someone was "doing their job".

when it comes to votong vote green if you were normallt labour like me as burnham has sold us all out with the jackdaw deal hes bowed down to the billionaires at the expense of us working class and the poor, it does not benefit or help us in any way it only helps the rich and the mps that have shares in shell and others, hes kiterally shown true colours now he has that bit of power whilst chucking us scraps like the bus fares. could you maybe have a look at theses things as well and give an opinion on it as im not as clued up on tjings as you seem to be so i would be grateful ro get your take on it all. im not disabled but am on the health element due to diagnosed bpd, bipolar, and psychosis

The only drain on public funding is the government and local authorities squandering and wasting taxpayer money until you actually work for them and see for yourself how much they waste its mind blowing 🤯

It’s an age old tactic. Billionaires have the power to have influence public opinion. It’s in their interest to make sure people are pointing the finger at those that are worse off than them..
