I have a son and daughter, I never let my child slap me, jump on me, or throw things at me, I dont see that as funny or as "boys will be boys" I see it more like disrespect and im NOT gonna tolerate that. However, he does pick flowers for me, kisses my hand, tells me im "the best mom," and always respects his sister. Im never gonna understand how some moms are okay with their kids (boys or girl) disrespecting them and saying "boys will be boys"
