Have your investors buy flips. The houses that the onesie twosie flippers have invested in need to get their money out. Your investors could buy a home that has been remodeled for cost

My childhood home in Spring, TX was flipped just before covid, it’s had 3 owners since. Still has fence & diving board from 1978. Last asking price was 360% more than what my mom sold it for. Home ownership for profit is a mental illness.

So eventually won’t that drive prices down?

People- don’t buy!! The market is too inflated and the houses aren’t worth what people are listing for!!!

It’s a buyer’s market but the sellers haven’t caught on yet. Our listings are lingering longer and longer right now.

I stupidly bought a new house without selling my old one on advice it would sell quickly. Well my old house hasn’t sold in over six months so I have both a $3K mortgage and a $5.8K mortgage. We are listing it for lease at the end of this month.

We sold our house in May for exactly what we owed plus all the “selling fees and concessions” - our realtor dropped her commission to make the concessions happen. I’ll forever be grateful to have walked away not bringing any money to the table because so many others I’ve seen are writing checks themselves to get their houses sold :(

I can’t sell mine. Debating on taking it off the market and re-listing it in the spring, but it could be worse by then. It’s basically a new build only two years old.

N Texas they have Fox and Jacobs houses built in the 70’s listed for 250 and up. That’s ridiculous and greedy flippers, sellers deserve to lose money. The same house my parents bought in the 90’s for under 100,000.

Firmly believe real estate remains egregiously overvalued. A correction is needed. Sellers need to reset pricing expectations.

I saw the writing on the wall a year and a half ago. Sold all our RE investments at the peak. Traveled the world for a year straight after. Just returned to reality and not enjoying myself. Especially now.

I’ve been a producing Realtor for nearly 14 years. It’s been a sufficient career up until about two years ago. The volatility is too much as the sole earner in my household. I’ll be sitting for the Series 7 in November and have a job in wealth management lined up for the first of the year.

If it’s for sale or lease and they end up leasing, does the realtor still get paid?
