Joseph had brothers who were jealous of him. Often, when God begins to lead a person forward, opposition also begins to appear. Some people may misunderstand you. Some may criticize you. Some may try to stand in your way. And some may simply become uncomfortable when they see you changing, growing, and moving toward what God has prepared for you. But remember this: Their appearance does not mean they can stop what God is doing. People may misunderstand you, but they cannot stop God. People may oppose you, but they cannot overthrow His purpose. God is still in control. He is still on the throne. And no person can stop what God has determined to accomplish. So if you are facing misunderstanding, pressure, jealousy, or opposition right now, do not lose heart too quickly. What looks like resistance today may simply be part of the road God is using to lead you into a new season.
