Yeah so I’m a previous employee of that crossroads and quit due to safety reasons. They know they are putting their employees and customers in harms way by not hiring a security guard and still refuse!

okay the last time I went to that crossroad I also had a bad experience that made me really uncomfortable I had to call my husband and be on the phone with him a while. that was like 2 yrs ago and now I only go to the Irvine crossroads.

I shop at fashion Island quite often and one time I was by myself leaving Ralph Lauren and these two guys in their vehicle tried to talk to me and they figured out that I was alone as I was walking to my car so I felt scared and I went back to the Neiman Marcus area and called security and security. Walked me to my car. You never know who’s around you and watching you 😳😭😢 I don’t I don’t fucking trust people in this damn age. You never know what they’re gonna do and on top of that that you guys who were trying to talk to me while I was shopping they definitely did not look like they were from around here.

Thank you for bringing awareness to that incident! I'm not sure if my situation may be similar, but I worked Security for the Camp in Costa Mesa for 2 and a half yrs, off of Bristol and Baker, and I was followed daily, by the same Men, I came to find out they were undercovers. These Men are all over Costa Mesa. They follow you, to the point of annoying you, specially if you're a good looking Woman, by yourself.

I’ve been followed in Irvine, proceeded to leave the store and drive to another store in Tustin & the man followed me there too! I posted about it on the Irvine reddit and learned that so many other women have been followed around in OC before 😞

That’s so scary!! This happened to a woman while I was shopping too, and she asked me to walk out to her car with her so she wasn’t alone. I’m glad you’re ok!!

The best thing you can do is call people out loudly. Drawing attention to them will scare them off l. Also let the store staff know.

Costa Mesa has a lot of this for some reason): I used to frequent Volcom skatepark and a guy by a similar description used to come just to peep on the women's restroom (the stalls are divided by a wall). He would also just record women there like a weirdo 😭

I was outside in the parking lot and the same guy was hovering around near me and just staring at me and I was getting super uncomfortable, he proceeded to put his hand down his pants and I bolted inside. (I didn’t have a car I couldn’t leave bc my bf dropped me off and I was waiting for him to come get me)
