Even after that christmas game Brock Purdy absolutely deserved the MVP. They gave it to Lamar because he’s one of the most glazed QBs in football with Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Mahomes, Jared Goff, etc. If Brock Purdy was a first round draft pick he would have absolutely won the MVP that year.

I dont think Lamar should have won in 2023. He didn’t reach 20 tds until the last game of the season. I do think he should have won over Josh Allen in 2024 I think it was. So he has the amount I think he should have won.

It’s so ironic because his next year was more deserving of an mvp but it was given to Allen for the same reasons he got one in 2023

Gus Edwards had like 12 TDs that year, Lamar didnt play 2 games worth of quarters because they were blowing teams out. Many games they were 2 scores ahead running out the clock....you had to have watched the games to understand how good Lamar llayed that year(under a new OC)

Even if the Xmas game didn't happen, Lamar would have still won bc the media couldn't accept Mr. Irrelevant being an MVP and him deserving it over 1st rounders. They ALL missed him and they weren't gonna admit that.
