@jamesmillerhockey: he is currently on pace for 56 goals, 187 assists, and 243 points 🤯 that would be a new NHL record for most assists and points in a single season. Wayne Gretzky has the record for most points (215) and assists (163). Gretzky finished his career with four seasons with 200+ points. Do you think McDavid could ever reach that milestone someday? Auston Matthews and Jack Eichel are the closest to reaching McDavid, however they both have played in two more games. It’s also interesting that defenseman Evan Bouchard is tied with them in points but that he has played in two less games. What the Edmonton Oilers are doing right now is absurd! Other players with eleven points - DeBrincat - Svechnikov - Sergachev - Pettersson - Karlsson - Blake Goal leaders 11 - Kaprizov 8 - Matthews 8 - Draisaitl 8 - Connor 8 - Lehkonen 8 - Stone #connormcdavid #mcdavid #waynegretzky #edmontonoilers #oilers
