These are really pretty colors together- I was picking up on dancing cactuses, but the watermelon vibe broke through- so the title is a mash up. I wanted the lyrics from the song to come up from the start - where they sing- I like the way your sparkling earrings lay-Against your skin so brown- And I wanna sleep with you in the desert tonight-With a billion stars all around…but it didn’t offer me that intro- so here we are. The Eagles wrote some great music and a lot of them are love songs. I don’t think that’s recognized in a big way and of course I can’t remember anything but Lying Eyes, which is kind of a sad recognition about her cheating ass, so anyway that’s not a good example. Think of all those manly men and all the girlfriends and romantic situations they experienced, that’s a whole lotta love to recognize, experience and work through right there. Hell, there was about ten or more members or so along the way, so good material accumulated. I don’t investigate my claims before posting, keeps it real and unfiltered- apparently, this approach is doing shit, as far as promotion - I don’t even have 100 followers- I’m just going to keep creating art and will continue bumbling along in all my glory here. I sure would like to sell some stuff. I have $250 in my car fund…wah wah wah. I just need something for a couple of thousand and I’ll be rolling. I don’t care what it looks like. I had a pissy day and I’m not really feeling it. Any of it. The world, the bullshit the aggravation of getting around. With no car I can’t get my ass to fairs, festivals or events, to show my work in person. I am happy to say I will be on display from mid Nov to mid Jan, at a busy coffee shop, down the road, that’s in Podunk City while I live in Podunk Village. So, maybe something will sell to those doing the whole Christmas thing. I wouldn’t say no. I think it’s nothing but meaningless hype and shouldn’t be a big deal after the kids figure it out and all. People going into debt for the wrong reasons in my opinion- but hey if you want Santa to deliver a Lisa McCracken original piece of stuff to anybody on your list then it would be just fine. I think I’m about to go drink a few glasses out of my Box O Wine, and call today, a day.
