I have 5 cats and one is FIV positive. they can all share the same bowls and spaces. So long as they get along and there's no deep bite wound fights then you can have another one!

My cat Tweak had it. He lived with his sister from infancy. He had it his whole life, she never got it. He passed away 7 years before her. She died at 21 of unrelated kidney failure. You can absolutely have another cat provided there are no deep bite woulds or mating.

get another cutie that’s fiv+ ! This is Mr moo, I had to rehome him once I got him neutered since my boy wasn’t friendly but I found him the perfect home with other fiv+ kitties. Shelters are full so there has to be plenty

Reach out to foster groups!!!!!! There's a chance they have another positive kitty that is looking for a forever home, and if they don't have one, you’ll be able to ask to be put on a list if they ever do get one!!!

I believe cats with fiv can live with non fiv cats as long as they aren’t biting eachother and drawing blood it should be fine they can share food and water I believe so u def probably could get her a friend 🙏🙏

dogs can't get feline aids fyi so you cohld get her a lil pup friend. but also you could ask around at local rescues or shelters if they have any cats in need of a home who already have feline aids.

I have 7 cats. Only 1 is FIV+. It spreads through deep bite wounds. Unless they're trying to kill each other, it's fine.
