Yes you can say “we brought the land from them” “Mexico lost the war” “used to be”. But When America brought land from Mexico. Mexicans who lived in now the US land, they were promised four things citizenship, keep of their land, language, and religion. They weren’t fulfilled. They were criticized for their language and religion. We’re seen as inferior and didn’t receive the citizenship. And their land was taken and often squatters took their own homes. Lastly, they were targeted and often lynched and were POSTED ON POST CARDS. search up lynching mexican bandits post cards.
