Accounting is the best answer…excellent job security, pays well, not too oversaturated, and potential for upwards mobility. Only knock on it is it’s not the most glamorous field

Electrical Engineering only requires 3 physics classes and 1 chem class so it’s one of the best picks if you’re tryna aviod science it’s mostly math!

Idk but everyone I know in the trades are doing amazing, I know a lot of people unemployed they did the 4 year college thing. If your doing college make sure it's something AI proof and specific.

Took me years of stress over student loan debt (and Covid and America’s economic collapse and bad politicians and AI) but college education is college education— it’s for your brain, not for your wallet. I wish someone would have taken time to explain life to me in a nice way— maybe I wouldn’t have accepted anyway, idk. Jobs and college are NOT mutually inclusive; I accept that now. Honestly, my relief comes from accepting AI is now the destroyer of mankind. As a first generation grad I was so clueless, but I had to ask myself (many times over): would I have changed my edu pathway? I would NOT have changed a thing! I am a new me in my thoughts bc of my edu. I accept what the world has and doesn’t have now. I can fight politics, though💀!! And I learned after a lot if stress that corporate life will never work for me!! So, folks, find people that have studied what you did and bond, even if they are online— be transparent. I couldn’t find anyone! Otherwise, I accept Starbucks and retail. 😭 My future education dreams are dead, so

I’d say business for sure! I’m in it at the moment but other than like accounting and the 2 gen ed classes you’re required to take (depending on the college), it’ll be pretty chill! you can also get a LOT of networking in though events, especially internships!!

it depends on your interests. I’m a math and econ major bc i want to be an actuary. job market is great and life satisfaction is good unless you’d hate working in an office. and i don’t have to take chemistry 😍😍. it depends on your goals tho

Finance, econ, and anything related to that. But if I’m being honest, you’re not really guaranteed a job in any field due to different factors like oversaturation, recession, and employers expecting a lot of experience out of you from graduation, which you can only earn from internships. I think my best recommendation is to be flexible with subjects, even if you don’t really like them because you probably have to do biology in the future anyways in some form.
