Buc-ee’s CEO says the company plans to focus its expansion on conservative, business-friendly states rather than blue states. And his reasoning is pretty straightforward: “Life is too short to try to build in places where people don’t appreciate what you’re bringing.” His point isn’t simply that Buc-ee’s prefers red states. He’s talking about the broader business environment; taxes, regulations, permitting, labor costs, and whether a state actually makes businesses feel welcome to invest and expand. Buc-ee’s is bringing jobs, construction, customers, tax revenue and investment wherever it opens. So from his perspective, why spend millions of dollars trying to convince a state to let you build there when another state is actively competing for your business? You don’t have to agree with his politics to understand the incentive. States compete for businesses. Businesses compete for customers. And increasingly, businesses have options. Maybe the lesson is simple: If you want people to build something in your state, make them feel like you actually want them there. 🦫🇺🇸 _____ #fyp #bucees #trending #conservative #republican
