@Sasuke<3: ❤️We are all human. Different places, different circumstances, different stories, but underneath it all, we share this human experience. We all know what it means to love, to hurt, to hope, to fear, and to want the people we love to be safe.
The people in Gaza are no less deserving of life, safety, dignity, or compassion than any of us. Their lives matter just as much as ours. Their children are just as precious. Their families are just as real. Their hopes for tomorrow are no less human than our own.
You may not be in a position to donate, and that's okay. But you can still do something. Stop scrolling. Watch their videos. Like, comment, share, and help their voices reach others. Engagement can increase their visibility and, where monetization is available, may help them earn money for food, shelter, medical care, or evacuation.
We don't have to share the same circumstances to recognize ourselves in one another. We don't have to experience someone's suffering firsthand to care about what happens to them.
We are not separate worlds. We are human beings sharing one world. And when one of us is suffering, we have a choice: to scroll past as if it has nothing to do with us, or to remember that the humanity we recognize in ourselves exists in others, too.
If you can't give money, give your time. If you can't do everything, do something.
Sometimes, making a difference starts with simply recognizing that we belong to one another. ❤️🌍🇵🇸
