@oh.that.mom: Tonight, I'm praying that my children never confuse having a hard day with being hard to love. 🤍 There will be days when they struggle. Days when their emotions feel bigger than they know how to handle. Days when they make mistakes. Days when they feel frustrated, disappointed, or misunderstood. And in those moments, I pray they never question whether they are worthy of love. Heavenly Father, Tonight, I place my children's hearts in Your hands. When they feel overwhelmed, surround them with comfort. When they make mistakes, help them learn without believing those mistakes define them. When they feel misunderstood, give them people who listen with patience and compassion. Lord, help me be a mother who reminds my children that love is not something they have to earn through perfect behavior. Teach me to correct them without making them feel rejected. To set boundaries while still showing affection. To listen when their feelings are difficult to understand. And to apologize when my own reactions fall short. Let our home be a place where my children know they can have difficult emotions, make mistakes, and still belong. As they close their eyes tonight, I pray they feel safe, valued, and deeply loved.
