The reason why I think Sullivan denied it is because it would make him look bad for not following through with the foreman's note to do a proper voir dire and investigate further. He seems to be a man who is more worried about his status and how he looks vs justice.

He is……. I was just watching 2020 episode where there was a case in which they were able to show too many connections and actually caused the state to step in. It was because of a prosecutor’s connection to things, but I wonder if that would apply with the judge?

I just keep thinking about why the judge wants a trial and why he’s pushing for a trial into me. I think it’s because he wants to expose the truth and the only way to do this is through a re trial.
